Terms of Service

1Accounts

You are responsible for your credentials and for everything done with your account.

You can sign in with email and password or with Google, and you can log out at any time.

• To request deletion of your account and more in details including your data, write to promptdistill@gmail.com. You can also do that in profile settings.
• We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that break these terms, abuse the Service, or attempt fraud.

2Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to break the law or to harm others. In particular, do not:

• generate or distribute unlawful, infringing or harmful content;
• probe, overload, scrape or bulk extract the Service, or bypass its limits;
• share an account as a service;
• reverse engineer, copy or create derivative versions of the Service.
• create multiple accounts to get around limits, or abuse the Service in a way that affects other users

Creating multiple accounts to get around limits, or abusing the Service in a way that affects other users, will result in a permanent ban. We may block future account creation and refuse access to the Service for anyone who does this, and may lead to legal consequences.

3Your content

You keep ownership of the information and prompts you create and save. You grant us the limited licence needed to store, process and display them so the Service works.

• Posting to the Shares page makes your prompt, uploaded outputs and your display name visible to other users and visitors.
• Do not share secrets, credentials or other people’s personal data.
• We may remove content that violates these terms.

4Artificial Intelligence

PromptDistill uses artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to power some of its features. By using the Service, you accept that AI may process your inputs in order to deliver those features. We make sure that our use of AI follows applicable law and is intended to improve your experience. Results created by AI may not always be accurate, and you should not rely on them alone when making critical decisions.

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying anything you use, especially before academic, professional, legal or otherwise high stakes use.

5Third party services

The Service relies on providers with their own terms, including:

• Google sign in.
• AI model providers.
• Gumroad.
• Cloud Run.
• Cloud SQL.
• Cloud Storage.
• Cloud Build and Artifact Registry.

6Payments

Paid plans or credit packs are processed by Gumroad. We do not store card details.

Credits are personal and cannot be transferred. They do not expire. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

7Availability and changes

The Service needs an internet connection and depends on third parties, so we do not promise uninterrupted availability.

We may change, add or remove features, and may update these terms.

8Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if the Service is discontinued.

On termination your right to use the Service ends, and we handle your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

9Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided in its current condition and subject to availability, with no warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for lost data, profits or opportunities, arising from your use of the Service or reliance on generated prompts and outputs.
